Hello, Everyone!

Signing In,
Alright...
Sorry to say this (UGH-GAN)...but I can't post up the next part of the story...
I really didn't have the spare time to write or continue my story last month...so many paperwork to do...Daughter's school is driving loads of nonsense at my face, saying that I keep on losing her things and homework is always missing...WHICH IS NEVER MY FAULT seeing that you always seem to find them lost and found within the school classroom campus!!!
I have more than one complains about that school...but I heard from parents with similar experiences with their kids who attended the same school...that if you're under some Governmental Subsidy Scheme...and if you're a FILIPINO especially...then your child will be given the most lowest of treatments and your child will end up with new bruises everyday on your child's body....Not even the POLICE or the EDUCATION DEPARTMENT give a DAMN!!!....
I'm trying my best to solve that problem....so don't expect me anytime soon with the story...
Unless...You guys wanna give me your opinion on this little side story that I've drafted...Remember how I asked on the POLL which next Pairing story you guys wanted to read?...Well...here's a little bit of the HUGO-SOFIA story path...but I wanted to know if anyone would like this or not...or if they wanted a certain character to go in a certain way than the way I did it...
PLEASE COMMENT BELOW TO LET ME KNOW!!!

Here's the Preview...
Just as I had made up my decision, I felt someone watching me. I looked around and noticed Hugo immediately. As if he read my thoughts, he started moving and swiftly dodging the other girls that were running towards him, and in just a flash he was already standing beside me.
“You don't mind, do you?” He bows and offers his left arm to me.
“No. Not at all.” I said as I took it.
The moment I wrapped my arm around his I instantly felt a thousand needles shooting at me. I turned to look up and saw most of our classmates staring at me. I could feel them all, like needles poking at my body all over me. It just feels...terrifying.
“Don't worry.” Hugo says. “It's only just for one night.”
Only one night? But the Ball is tomorrow. I'll have to endure the eyes of our angry female classmates for the rest of today before tomorrow night could even come.
I took a glance around to see who got partnered with whom. From my far right side: Desmond and Vivian, Zandar and Hildegard, Khalid and Maya, Hugo and I, Jun and Jin, James and Clio, Frederick and Mae, and the other three princes paired up with Arsinoe, Matillda and Penelope. I search around the room to see who are the two remaining princesses who didn't get paired up, but I see only Leena left alone in a corner.
“Sofia.” I heard someone beside me.
I turned to see Amber standing right next to me.
“Y-Yes, Amber?” I asked softly. Feeling quite terrified actually.
“You got paired up with Hugo?” She asked.
“Yes.” I swallowed. “I did.”
She then takes my left hand in both of her hands, like a sandwich. Looks at me closer with a calm emotionless expression. Her expression isn't the scary part, but the silence.
“...YOU'RE SO LUCKY, SOFIA!” She says and shakes my hand and arm vigorously. “Being any princess, you're the one he chose to-”
“I didn't choose her, Princess Amber.” Hugo says as he cuts her off. “Her eyes were the first pair to land on mine, so naturally I answered her request through them.”
“Oh, Hugo. It's still just the same.” She says. “You could've just stayed put and waited for her to reach you.”
“My apologies,Princess Amber. But I would safely assume that you failed to get a partner of your own, which is why you're here chatting with us.” Hugo points out.
“Ah-ha.” She says care-freely. “I don't need one. I'm the organizer of this Ball. I need to finish preparing before tomorrow night.” She uses her maroon colored fan to emphasize her gestures.
“Wouldn't it be awkward to just watch all of us dance?” He said.
“It may get lonely, but if I don't oversee these things and take charge, then what will become of the Ball?” She says with a proud smile. “Anyways, I'd best be talking to Leena there about her little dilemma. See you both later.” She says and walks away with her fan opened over her face.
“You didn't have to be too straight forward with her, you know.” I said to him in a small voice.
“If you pity her that badly, then maybe you could give up your place and give it to her instead.” He says.
“You know, I think I might just do that.” I said and swiftly removed my arm off of his. “Sorry for bothering you.” I curtsied and started walking. “Am-”
But I felt my arm being held and got tugged backwards landing right back beside him. Almost falling, I managed to keep my balance on my feet.
“What do you think you're doing?” Hugo said in a strong whisper.
“You said that I should give up my place to give it to Amber.” I whispered back.
“I said 'could', not 'should'.”
“It's still the same thing.”
“It's not. And besides, I didn't say that I wanted you to give up your place for her. I answered your eyes first, and that's how it shall be.”
Hugo can really be stubborn, but at the same time he's still polite and generous, although he's always forgiven by the other princesses.
“Alright everyone. The school's over for the day. You may all continue your discussions on your own.” Ms. Fauna waves her wand over herself and shrinks in size while leaving the classroom.
Everybody starts packing up their things while discussing with their partners as they leave the room. I took out my wand and summoned my box, placing my remaining stationary inside it. Summoned the box away and returned the wand back into a bracelet.
“That's a really cool trick you've got there, Sofia.” Hugo says as he walks over to my desk.
“Thanks. Our Royal Sorcerer taught me that trick.” I said. “He really knows his magic.”
“Really? But what I heard from Amber is that he always messes up his spells.”
“That's usually got to do with other things, not him or his magic.” I said.
Whenever I watch Mr. Cedric doing his conjuring and any other magic, it is always successfully done: like the time when I accidentally spilled some Lizard Potion on myself and he transformed me back; and the other time when he showed me the Morpho Mirror trick that he was going to perform in my first Enchanted Feast; and that time during the Royal Jubilee when the Royal Scouner was in trouble and it was heading right for a group of large dangerous sharp rocks, he and King Magnus' Royal Sorcerer, Mr. Greylock, worked together and saved the ship by lifting it up into the air and bringing it back to the port deck.
But once he starts getting nervous, when his props and wands gets hexed or ruined, and when his concentration gets distracted by his allergies or his father, his magic will take a turn for the worse: when Dad asked him to turn the old gargoyle statues into golden horses, but they ended up coming to life; when Amber asked him to make James two years younger, but he sneezed during the incantation and accidentally turned him into a baby; during our Buttercup visit in Mystic Meadows his father would always interrupt him whenever he is in the middle of conjuring a spell and it would go horribly wrong; and when it was time for him to perform his
Feast trick and
Morpho Mirror trick in front of the Tri-Kingdom royal families, both of them went and backfired because he didn't know that his wand got hexed by Miss Nettle, an evil fairy who disguised herself as Sasha the Sorceress, when he wasn't looking. In any case, I'd still say that he is still the best sorcerer around, just like Mr. Goodwyn.
“Oh. Maybe she just doesn't like him as your family's Royal Sorcerer.” Hugo says. “She usually says negative things about people when she doesn't like or know them very much.”
“You're.....Hmm....You're probably right about that.” I said as I recalled my experiences with Amber when I first became a princess and she'd was constantly embarrassing me. And that time when I was first grouped with Princess Vivian in a project, Amber and the other girls kept saying rumors about her on which they weren't sure about. Why did I never notice that before?
“So. What's your dress in mind?” Hugo asks me.
“Huh?” I scrambled my thoughts to focus on the matters at hand. “Oh...My dress?”
“Yeah. I figured that these sort of things should always go with the girls first. Once your dress has been decided, then it'll be much easier to do my attire.” He says.
“Oh. Actually, I've already had a dress prepared for the Tea-Party. I figured that I could wear it to the Ball so that it wouldn't go to waste.” I said. “I'll show you.”
I turned my bracelet into a wand and conjured an imagery of my dress in the open. It was mostly a green gown with really long off the shoulders asymmetrically lengthened sleeves. I didn't add any supporting fabrics around the shoulders area. The corset was green with full of golden hand stitched embroidery designs all over. And I added glittery gold lining all around the edges of the dress from the top and the bottom edges of the dress. It's simple, but I loved the way it turned out.
“Woah.” He went. “This is...really...really impressive. Your Dressmaker must have a pair of really good hands.”
“Actually, I made the dress myself.”
“You?!” He turned to me with a shocked expression. “The whole dress?”
“Yup. So, have you got an idea for your suit?” I asked right away to avoid boasting about my dress. I easily get carried away like that.
“Hm.” He says and holds his right hand. “Maybe...I could get a gold top and long legged trousers...with a long green sash with some hints of gold on it draped around my left shoulder and right waist. Shoes can be brown. Hm...I should have my cream colored cravat as well.”
“That's a nice combination.” I commented.
“I have to know my clothes. I have to anyway since we don't have a Dressmaker of our own. We usually ask some of the local Dressmakers in the village of our Kingdom to tailor our clothes, but mixing and matching, is what we have to do on our own.” He says. “I'll have to go there right away and pay extra for my clothes to get made and done overnight.”
“Why don't you come over to our castle? Our Royal Dressmaker, Madame Collette, is really good with her hands and quickly gets clothes done. You can get your measurements done today, then tomorrow she will work on the finishing touches when you come back to try them on for fitting.”
“Hm. I guess I could take you up on it. I promise to pay back every single-”
“You don't have to pay back anything. I was the one who offered our services to you.” I said. “And I won't take 'No' for an answer.”
“Heh. As you wish, Sofia.” He says and gestures towards the door. “Ladies first.”
“Thank you.” I said and walked ahead while holding my dress.
We made it outside to the front entrance of the school, where we see most of the coaches of some of classmates starting to take off from the ground or already in the sky heading back home. Our coaches were still on the ground. From my point of view, Hugo's carriage is on the right side, while the one I am supposed to take is on the left where I could see Amber already seated in.
“Hey, Amber!” I said as I got to the foot of our carriage. “Did I take too long?”
“No, Sofia. I just got into the coach myself.” She replied.
“Where's James?” I said, trying to sound like I was concerned when I saw none of his physical presence.
“He went with Clio to her kingdom. They're going to take their measurements for attire tomorrow with Clio's personal Dressmaker. She wouldn't take 'No' for an answer.”
